Happy Haunting

I hope you had a spook-tacular halloween! This year Brad and I dressed up as a fat chef and a plate of spaghetti. I must say, I think it has been our favorite halloween costume so far! My favorite part was how much Brad acted like his character at each party we went to...

As you may know, every year we create a spooky short movie to show at our Annual Haugen Halloween party - So here we are, once again... Making complete fools of ourselves. I sure hope you like it!

Nostalgia

We spent last weekend up at my grandparents cabin in Star Valley, Wyoming. I hadn't been up there for a few years, and it was so fun taking Brad there for the first time and showing him a bit of my childhood! We spent our time running around the golf course, telling scary stories, and eating too many pumpkin chocolate chip cookies....

I'd say the weekend was a success.

Pumpkin Patch

October is my favorite month, it always has been! But I think I especially fell in love with October when Brad came into my life. A lot of our history happened in October - We went on our first date, had our first kiss, I even sent him off on his mission in October! People think I'm crazy when I tell them I enjoy the Halloween season more than any other season, but there's just so much more to it for me now.

Off Sailing

Every time I think summer activities are over, I get surprised with more sunshine! Our good friends Eston & Aric took us out for a spin on their boat to show off their new sailing skills. I hadn’t been on a sailboat since Brad proposed to me last December and I couldn’t help but feel a little sentimental as I stepped on board… I think sailing will always give me that feeling now.

I get sea sick, car sick, any sick... really easy.

In my favor it was not too windy, so that made this sailing adventure ten times more enjoyable for me.

It was a good day, with good company.

 Oh! Don’t let me forget to mention when the mast flew around and knocked Aric in the face! (Explanation for the broken glasses he’s wearing) Poor guy! I couldn't help but laugh though - especially the way he played it off like it was no biggie. I'm still kicking myself for not grabbing that on film.
