Vamos A Chile

I cannot believe today is the day.
We are embarking on our adventure to Chile!
This is my first time to visit, and I could not be more ecstatic. Not only to experience where Brad served his LDS mission for two years, but I get to meet a the rest of my new family! Brad's Mom is from Chile, so his grandparents (or I should be saying my grandparents) and cousins still live down there.

I couldn't help but cry when I watched this video clip Brad sent home from his mission in 2010 - his Grandparents surprised him by showing up to his ward one Sunday and watching them interact for basically the first time brought me to tears! Brad had spent time with them once when he was 6 years old, but he didn't know spanish - I think that is what made this experience that much more special because they were able to really communicate. I still can't believe we will be there so SOON (I should probably be finishing packing instead of blogging right now...) But I am just too excited I can't hardly contain myself! I'm hoping to be posting updates of our adventures along the way (due to internet availability...) and you can also follow me on instagram as @haileydevine - now lets pray I survive this 15 hour plane ride and don't come home with a massive sunburn.
Peace out USA!
